Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound. Also I like the acoustic songs. I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert. It´s hanging on my wall since that day :)

I'd always intended to buy this upon its release - finally I've got back to it it. To give you an idea where this great release sits: think Will Oldham (Bonnie 'Prince' Billy') - esp 'I See a Darkenss' era. It's eerily evocactive & touchingkly warm. It's the kind of music you'd sit by an open fire and spend special moments with a loved one; or alone, eyes closed, drifting away with your personal thoughtts.
